TIMSON AOR: “A band that landed 30 years later” (cit.) was part of the description on their debut album “Forevers not enough” released in 2024 and I had the feeling that something was missing reading it.
In less than a year Timson Aor comes back with an absolutely superb slice of modern Aor/Melodic rock bathed in synths and keyboards, spreading some huge guitar solos from another planet.
Classic 80’s Aor and Melodic rock is the order of the day but it’s a pleasure to hear that the duo (Mark Timson & Lukky S.) have grown musically creating their own style in a genere fairly well-trodden and with a lot of competition in the marketplace. “The Next Level” brings classy songs with sonically perfect production and it become a motive to sing along as you drive through everyday highways of life.
I could write for hours about every detail I hear in every track but, I better stop and recommend to everyone just to stop wasting any more time and go grab this release.
The album’s lead single “The Wind Whispers (your name)” is set for release on January 13th.
“The Next Level” will be available worldwide on February 28th 2025, with pre-orders starting on January 12th.
